The feminism movement strengthened the institution of day care and weakened the institution of marriage. I don’t condemn the feminism movement, that would be like biting the hand that feeds you. I do ask that women and men look at children of the current generation because they ultimately reflect the values of the our generation, and the reality makes me question the decisions adults make in the name of self-liberation.
There are good men, just as there are bad men. There are also good women, just as there are bad women. Goodness is not gender driven, it is principle driven. Women and men should be condemned for their actions, not because of their gender. Likewise, either should be praised for their good deeds, not because of their gender.
How can society celebrate and support the advancement of one group at the expense of another group? Those 18 million cracks must now be patched up by latchkey kids of America. The only way to redeem the negative effects of women’s liberation is to teach the next generation of men how to wear the pants.
